LAKELAND, Fla. – A 50-year-old Lakeland man is behind bars today after Polk County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes detectives linked him to dozens of files involving the sexual abuse of children.
Christopher Burnside was taken into custody on April 2, 2026, following an investigation sparked by tips from the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children (NCMEC).
