Lakeland unveils interactive guide to murals, offers prizes

The Lakeland Community Redevelopment Agency is launching the Lakeland CRA Mural Passport, an interactive initiative designed to showcase the city’s vibrant public art scene while encouraging residents and visitors to explore Lakeland’s unique neighborhoods.

The Mural Passport invites participants to visit a curated collection of murals located throughout CRA districts, including Downtown, Midtown and Dixieland, the city said in a news release. By checking in at each mural location, participants can track their progress, learn about the artists and discover the stories behind each piece of art.

“This program is about more than just murals — it’s about connection,” said CRA Representative Shelley Guiseppi, the CRA Project Manager. “The Mural Passport encourages people to experience Lakeland in a new way, support local businesses, and appreciate the creativity that makes our community special.”…
