LEBANON, Pa. — The world’s largest operating steam locomotive will make stops in Lebanon and Lewistown in July for America’s 250th anniversary. Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 started its coast-to-coast tour on Memorial Day in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Big Boy No. 4014’s tour includes a Fourth of July celebration in Philadelphia, events in eight cities and 50 whistle-stops in 10 states. Rail fans can see the historic machine in action for 15-to-30 minutes at whistle stops.
