Brush fire in Lancaster County upgraded to barn fire

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Crews worked to contain a barn fire in Salisbury Township on Saturday morning.

The fire was initially reported at 8:04 a.m. as a brush fire in the 6200 block of Beaver Dam Road, according to county dispatch. The fire then reportedly spread to the barn.

As of 8:35 a.m., the fire has been marked under control, dispatch said.

No one was inside the barn at the time, according to dispatch, though there were some animals inside when the fire started. No injuries to people or animals were reported…
