WEST BRANDYWINE TWP, PA — Drivers in western Chester County should prepare for a lengthy detour beginning later this month as utility improvement work forces the closure of a section of Reeceville Road in West Brandywine and East Brandywine townships.

West Brandywine Township announced that Reeceville Road will be closed between Swinehart Road and Bollinger Road beginning Monday, June 29, and continuing through Friday, Sept. 25, weather permitting.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 82 (Manor Road), Route 322 (Horseshoe Pike), and Bollinger Road to travel around the work zone.
