Fallen trees close multiple Midstate roads

(WHTM)– Multiple Midstate roads closed on Thursday afternoon due to fallen trees.

According to the Manheim Township Police Department, a tree fell across the Oregon Pike (Route 272) in the 2100 block near Ruth Ridge Drive in Lancaster County. Police said the roadway was blocked in both directions before reopening around 3 p.m.

The Hershey Volunteer Fire Company posted on Facebook at 1:52 p.m., notifying the public of a road closure due to a fallen tree.

The 500 block of Hill Top Road is closed between Clark and Sand Hill Road while crews remove the tree and restore power in the area…
