1 ‘heavily entrapped’ after head-on collision on Pennsylvania highway

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A stretch of Route 30 was closed in York County on Sunday morning after a head-on collision between two vehicles.

The crash was reported at the Accomac Road overpass in Hellam Township around 1:34 a.m., according to county dispatch.

When crews arrived, they said they found one patient “heavily entrapped.” Hellam Fire Company said it removed the roof of one of the vehicles and performed a dash lift to help extricate the patient.
