‘Now I can die happy’: Historic steam locomotive draws train enthusiasts

AMITY TWP., Pa. – It’s a once-in-a-lifetime sight: Historic steam locomotive, “Big Boy No. 4014,” passed through Amity Township Thursday, delighting train fans.

“It was an out-of-body experience. It really was. For a train nut like me, it was really cool,” said a train enthusiast.

The Monarch Fire Co. opened its parking lot to the public free of charge, shuttling visitors to the viewing area and handing out free water…
