LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — More than 100 packets of heroin/fentanyl were seized Wednesday evening from a Lancaster apartment, leading to the arrest of a man on drug and firearm-related charges.
Around 5 p.m. on July 15, the Lancaster City Police Bureau’s Selective Enforcement Unit (SEU) searched an apartment at the first block of South Ann Street in Lancaster after a weeks-long investigation.
Charles Shipp was detained by officers while leaving the apartment before it was searched, the police said in a release.
Inside the home, officers said they seized:
- One hundred and seventeen packets of heroin/fentanyl
- Around 24 grams of cocaine
- Thirteen bags of hallucinogenic mushrooms
- Forty-three suboxone tablets
- Twenty oxycodone tablets
- Eighteen alprazolam tablets
- Five Percocet tablets
- Various quantities of marijuana and methamphetamine
- Several items related to drug paraphernalia
- More than $850 in cash
