A Christiana woman was jailed Monday after Pennsylvania State Police accused her of bringing K-2 into State Correctional Institution (SCI) Mahanoy and delivering it to an inmate during a visit.
Charges Filed Against Alyssa Marie Murray
Alyssa Marie Murray, 32, is charged with felony manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police Detail Alleged K-2 Delivery at SCI Mahanoy
According to an affidavit filed by Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, police were called to the prison at approximately 10:58 a.m. Monday, September 14.
A prison captain told investigators that officials had received information indicating Murray planned to bring K-2, also known as synthetic marijuana, into the facility for inmate Tyrese Hatfield.
