Lancaster Maternal Fetal Medicine (Lancaster MFM) is growing its medical team with the addition of maternal-fetal medicine specialists Jaimie L. Maines, MD, and James M. O’Brien, MD. Both are board-certified and highly respected MFM specialists that LMFM is honored to welcome to the family.
Founded in 2017, Lancaster MFM is an independent, physician-owned practice providing advanced prenatal imaging, consultation, and pregnancy care at its offices in Lancaster and Reading. The practice works collaboratively with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare providers to care for patients with both routine and high-risk pregnancies and also offers gyn pelvic imaging for women of all ages.
Dr. O’Brien joined the practice on Sept. 14, followed by Dr. Maines in October. Their arrival brings Lancaster MFM’s physician team to four physicians and three advanced practice providers and expands access to specialized prenatal imaging and maternal-fetal care across Lancaster and Berks counties. The practice serves the broader region of central Pennsylvania and routinely sees patients from York, Dauphin, Cumberland, Lebanon, Adams, and Chester counties as well as patients from Delaware and northern Maryland.
