LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Superior Court of Pennsylvania rejected a former Lancaster man’s appeal, affirming his life sentence for shooting and killing someone during an argument in 2017.
Wilberto Melendez, 49, is facing life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing 31-year-old William Cooper, who suffered two gunshot wounds and died from his injuries several hours later.
