Pedestrian injured after jumping on hood of car while being hit at Lititz intersection

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The driver of a Chevrolet Impala was cited at the end of September after a pedestrian was hit by a car, according to Lititz Borough police.

Officers responded to reports of a crash around 11:20 a.m. on Sept. 30 at the intersection of South Cedar Street and Front Street, where a pedestrian was supposedly hit by the driver of the Impala in a crosswalk.

The police said the pedestrian jumped on the hood of the Impala to avoid some of the impact at the time of the crash. They were injured and taken to an area hospital for further treatment…
