Addiction Services Deal Approved as Lancaster Officials Respond to Community Complaints

Officials in Lancaster County have approved a six-month renewal of a contract with Blueprints for Addiction Recovery, reversing an earlier decision to delay the agreement amid community concerns. The contract, approved Wednesday by county commissioners, covers addiction treatment programs provided on behalf of the county’s Drug and Alcohol Commission. Officials clarified that the agreement is not directly tied to the organization’s recently opened drop-in resource center, which has been the focus of public complaints.
