State Police: Lancaster County man leads troopers on high-speed chase through Perry, Dauphin counties

NEWPORT, Pa. — A Lancaster County man is facing dozens of charges after allegedly leading State Police on a high-speed vehicle chase across parts of Perry and Dauphin counties Thursday morning, authorities claim in charging documents.

Joshua Hickey, 45, of Willow Street, allegedly fled from a traffic stop on Route 322 in Howe Township, Perry County after providing a State Police trooper with false identification.

The trooper pulled Hickey over shortly before 7:30 a.m. after an Automated License Plate Recognition device alerted the trooper that Hickey had outstanding warrants. The trooper also spotted Hickey’s vehicle touch the fog lines twice, according to charging documents…
