YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Tonight’s Hometown Heroes are helping disabled veterans enjoy a day of hunting.
Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture holds a special hunt for the veterans, providing support, tags and hunting blinds, where they can either take a break or wait for a deer to come into sight.
The USDA asked Northern High School’s tech-ed teacher if his students could help out this year. They came together to build a new hunting blind for the event…
