Lansing community rallies for National Gun Violence Awareness Day

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Dozens of Michigan residents gathered in Lansing Saturday, wearing orange to mark National Gun Violence Awareness Day. They shared personal accounts of loss and called on lawmakers to address what they described as a national crisis.

The event was organized in partnership with the Greater Lansing Area Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense and other advocacy groups.
