Michigan State athletics has officially launched Spartan Ventures.
With the turning of the month to July, Michigan State has now officially launched Spartan Ventures. Per an official press release from the school, Spartan Ventures is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation which aligns the commercial operations of Michigan State Athletics, allowing them to work with the precision and flexibility of a private corporation in support of Michigan State Athletics and Spartan student-athletes.
Along with the unveiling of Spartan Ventures, Michigan State released its two programs that will support Spartan Ventures: Spartan Media Ventures and the Spartan Athletic Foundation. According to a press release, Spartan Media Ventures is a for-profit corporation built to elevate the brand of Michigan State Athletics, facilitate capital investment to accelerate the commercial operations of Spartan Ventures, and to enhance student-athlete opportunities…
