Dershey’s Cafe closing after nearly 30 years in St. Johns

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – Dershey’s Cafe served some of its final meals Thursday, with regulars stopping in to say goodbye before the restaurant closes Friday after nearly 30 years in business.

Regular Phillip Flegel, who estimates he has dined at the cafe roughly a thousand times, described it as a place that felt like home.

“It’s clean, friendly, and damn good food,” Flegel said, tearing up.
