Michigan State Police complete national trust-building program

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – The Michigan State Police say they have completed a national program designed to improve trust between troopers and the communities they serve.

The program is called the Trust Building Pledge. It gives law enforcement a framework for reviewing how troopers use force, serve victims, and connect with the public.

MSP said it completed the pledge this July, after entering into the program in August 2024…
