ST JOHNS, Mich. (News 10) – Heating oil prices have risen sharply, and some customers in rural areas are bracing to spend thousands of dollars to heat their homes this winter.
Lynette Brandon sells heating oil for Smith Oil & Propane. She said the phone has been ringing with concerns from worried customers.
“It’s not been easy. I mean, they know when they call…they don’t know if it’s going to be six dollars, seven dollars, eight dollars,” Brandon said.
