US-127 near Lansing to close for guardrail repairs

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A portion of US-127 in the capital region will be shut down Tuesday to allow workers to replace guardrails, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced Monday.

Starting at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, southbound US-127 from the I-69 interchange to the Lake Lansing Road exit will be completely closed. MDOT says the highway is expected to reopen at around noon the same day.

MDOT recommends affected drivers take Exit 82A to eastbound I-69 before taking Exit 94 to westbound Saginaw Highway, which will take drivers back to southbound US-127…
