There’s a seemingly forgotten top-85 recruit in Michigan State’s 2026 class that isn’t getting enough love for whatever reason, and I think it’s probably because the rest of the group is so highly-touted. Julius Avent seems to be falling by the wayside when everyone talks about Michigan State’s top-five recruiting class for 2026, but he definitely shouldn’t be.
Avent is a four-star power forward in the 2026 class and he’s ranked No. 84 in the nation. He stands just 6-foot-7, which may be on the smaller side, and weighs in at around 200 pounds. He’s a little smaller than Cam Ward which could be problematic at the four, but I’d expect him to bulk up considerably in East Lansing…
