Vigil to be held Monday marking 99 years since deadly Bath School bombing

BATH TWP., Mich. (WILX) – A ceremony will be held Monday night to mark the 99th anniversary of the deadly Bath School bombing, the deadliest school attack in American history.

On May 18, 1927, 45 people — including 38 elementary school students, six adults and the attacker — were killed when multiple bombs went off inside the Bath Consolidated School building in Bath Township.

The attack left nearly 60 other people injured…
