Clark County Approves Construction of Nevada’s First Standalone Children’s Hospital

Clark County commissioners unanimously approved construction permits Wednesday for Nevada’s first standalone children’s hospital, marking a landmark moment for the state’s healthcare system. The approval, granted during a zoning commission meeting, clears the way for Intermountain Health to move forward with what officials are calling a transformational project for southern Nevada families.

Clark County Commission Chair Michael Naft, whose district includes the hospital, called the vote a turning point for the region.
