110 degrees in Las Vegas: Outdoor workers take extra steps to beat the heat

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — As Southern Nevada heads into another week of dangerous heat with temperatures sitting around 110 degrees, people who work outdoors are considering their options and taking extra precautions for their safety.

It only takes a few minutes standing in this sun to understand what outdoor crews are up against. Now imagine spending eight or ten hours outside in triple-digit heat.
