LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — About 900 students at Ed Von Tobel Middle School will walk into a new building Monday, marking the school’s first day at its new campus at 38-75 Alto Avenue — blocks from its former location on Pecos.
The new campus took approximately two years to build. School officials said the facility was designed to be safer, more functional, and more comfortable for students.
New safety features throughout campus
Security upgrades are built into the structure. Doors automatically bolt-lock when closed. Windows are reflective, preventing outside visibility into the building. All classes are now housed in a single building.
