LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Fire Department responded to a home fire in the central Las Vegas valley Sunday morning.
Around 7:55 a.m., CCFD responded to a structure fire near Viking Road and Eastern Avenue. When crews arrived, they found a two-story, vacant single-family home with an active fire at the back of the building.

The fire was extinguished around 8:42 a.m., and crews remained on scene to check for and to extinguish any remaining hot spots.
No civilians or firefighters were injured as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
