LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The National Weather Service issued an extreme heat watch for Southern Nevada starting Tuesday.
The extreme heat watch was issued for northwest Arizona, southeast California, and Southern Nevada from the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 18, through the evening of Friday, Aug. 21, according to NWS.
Dangerously hot conditions are expected for the impacted areas with temperatures up to 115 to 118 degrees expected through Death Valley and the lower Colorado River Valley, with highs between 107 and 110 degrees elsewhere.
