LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two people were rescued Tuesday after a utility task vehicle (UTV) rolled on an off-road trail near the Virgin Mountains along the Nevada-Utah border.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Search and Rescue (SAR) team responded to a request for help in bringing back the UTV occupants from the crash scene “due to the distance and sketchy off road trails,” according to a social media post.
The driver and the passenger had minor injuries — abrasions — and they were airlifted from the scene by Metro’s AIR1 helicopter. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts when the crash occurred…
