TONOPAH, Nev. (KOLO) – A Polish national has been sentenced to time served after being found guilty of taking pictures of U.S. military installations in Nevada without permission.
Michal Miroslaw Rokita traveled to the U.S. on a passport issued by Poland with the intent of unlawfully taking images and audio recordings of U.S. military installations and equipment.
The DOJ says that, between April 7 and April 14, Rokita took photos of equipment and installations at the Nevada Test and Training Range and the Tonopah Test Range without obtaining the permission of the installation commander…
