Georgia doubled its pleasure on Sunday afternoon, picking up a pair of commitments — one for the offensive line and one for its wide receiver room — after a busy recruiting weekend.
The offensive lineman is DJ Dotson, a massive 6-foot-7, 340-pounder from Hattiesburg, Miss. Dotson is considered the No. 27 player in Mississippi and the No. 75 overall offensive tackle in the country. According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, LSU and Georgia Tech were Dotson’s finalists. Dotson is looking to follow in the footsteps of his father, Demar, who spent 11 years in the NFL.
The wide receiver is an in-state product: Taurean Rawlins, ranked by 247Sports as the No. 58 wide receiver in the country. Rawlins, who measures in at 6 feet and 175 pounds, made 67 catches for 1,395 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior at Mount Vernon School in Atlanta…
