CONYERS — On the streets of Olde Town Conyers, within the historic buildings, storefronts and the courthouse T.K. Read saw the makings of a fantasy world.
Read — a longtime Conyers attorney and wife of Rockdale County State Court Judge Richard Read — who writes fiction under the pen name Kam Karem, has transformed the historic downtown she has known for three decades into “Olde Town Bolder” for her new novel, “The Queen of Second Chances”.
When the book is released on Aug. 26 by The Wild Rose Press, local readers may recognize more than a little of Conyers in its pages. And three days later, Read plans to show them exactly where some of those ideas came from…
