Fuel prices raise concerns for flight schools at Gwinnett County Airport

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — At the LookUp Flight Academy in Lawrenceville, future pilots are preparing to soar, but the cost of flying is also rising.

One of the airport’s main fuel providers, Sheltair, permanently closed recently. The company’s CEO said Sheltair decided to focus its attention on Florida, where it is headquartered.

The closure leaves Jet Center as the only other fuel source at Gwinnett County Airport…
