ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — In a pretrial conference Wednesday, former DeKalb County Schools Superintendent Devon Horton’s lawyer said that the former district chief would change his plea next week. The change is not part of a cooperation deal with the government, the attorney said.
Horton served as Superintendent of DeKalb County Schools, but resigned in October 2025 after he was federally indicted in Illinois. Horton was previously the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 superintendent before he took the helm of the DeKalb school district…
