Woman sentenced to life in prison for shooting, killing her mom’s boyfriend

DECATUR, Ga. — A woman was sentenced to spend the rest of her life in prison after a jury found her guilty of shooting and killing her mother’s boyfriend.

DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston announced on Friday the conviction of 31-year-old Quenisha Poole in connection with the death of 45-year-old Erick Smith.
