NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — What started as a teen’s dream has grown into a family business built on hard work and a lot of community support.
A Jessamine County family is now racing to finish their new concession trailer before a major surgery that could put their fast-growing business on pause.

Jaxx Conn has quickly become a familiar face in Jessamine County. His business “Flippin’ Jaxx” now pops up at school events, festivals, and community gatherings, serving up mini pancakes and homemade lemonade.
“Everybody thinks to become a business owner you’ve got to be old, you’ve got to be 30, know what you’re doing,” said Conn. “I’m 14, didn’t know what I was doing, and I started it. So, I’m really happy with where it’s gotten, and how it’s going.”…
