Fayette County school board to vote on $110M loan, smaller budget

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Fayette County Public School Board members will consider a request for a $110 million loan to cover expenses as the district continues to grapple with its financial fallout.

The elected members of the board will also vote on the tentative budget for next school year, which is smaller than last year’s in an attempt to restore their contingency fund.
