LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Today marks the first day of Meteorological Summer – and our conditions start to act more seasonable as the week goes on.
Much of our area will manage to stay dry for our day today, with passing clouds and temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and low 80s – right in like with early June averages.
However, there is a cluster of strong storms off to our west that could kick up an isolated chance in south central Kentucky this afternoon. Coverage will be hit-or-miss, but a brief downpour or rumble of thunder is possible…
