LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officials with the Lexington Police Department said that officers responding to reports of a shooting early Thursday morning in a local neighborhood had been shot at.
Just after 4:15 a.m. on June 18, officers with the Lexington Police Department were dispatched to the area of Deaville Drive and Creekside Court, per a news release.

Authorities wrote that while officers were investigating in the area, an unknown person “fired multiple shots at officers, nearly striking them.”
No officers were injured, according to police. It’s unknown whether or not anyone else involved in the shooting had been injured or apprehended…
