LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Heavy rains have impacted the city of Lexington’s ability to process recyclables.
According to the city, wet items caused mechanical issues at the Lexington Recycling Center. As a result, the city is asking residents not to put out their blue recycling carts on Tuesday because there is currently no room at the center.
Any recyclable items put out on Tuesday will be taken to the landfill instead…
