“Ten years, it seems like yesterday for me and most of our staff. We have grown four times the size we were before we moved to this location when we were on UK’s campus,” says Kristi Stambaugh.
The director of Aging and Disability Services for the city stands inside the gym and theater in the heart of Lexington’s senior facilities, as visitors choose up sides in a round of cornhole nearby.
On an average day, 400 or so seniors come through the doors, with roughly 100 new visitors trying out the offerings every month. Fitness and wellness programs remain the main draw…
