SEASONAL SHIFT | Fall will arrive after another hot and humid stretch

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – This week will have a rollercoaster of temperatures, with highs ranging from the low 90s to the upper 70s.

Mostly Sunny Sunday

Dense fog has taken hold over some areas this morning, especially in eastern Kentucky. Skies will clear by the afternoon and stay clear for most of the day.

Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 80s, and it will be humid today. There is a slight chance of an isolated shower for areas east tonight.

Cool Start to the Week

Kids may need a light coat as they head to school on Monday morning, as temperatures will be in the 60s. Skies will be clear throughout the day, and dewpoints will be noticeable lower.

Afternoon highs will range from the upper 70s in the northern Bluegrass region to the mid-80s in southcentral Kentucky.

Back to Summer Heat

Temperatures will climb to the upper 80s to low 90s on Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, afternoon highs will be in the low 90s. Dewpoints will increase again as well, making it feel humid.
