LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The pedestrian who was reportedly killed while trying to cross I-75 in Lexington on Friday has been identified.
Around 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 11, the Lexington Police Department said officers were called to the 102-mile marker of I-75 for a pedestrian who was struck by multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck.

On Sept. 14, the Fayette County Coroner’s Office announced that the pedestrian was identified as 34-year-old Diego Gomez-Jimenez of Richmond. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
