Lexington mayor announces changes at fire department

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Mayor Linda Gorton announced the retirement of Lexington Fire chief Jason Wells on Monday.

Wells became chief in December 2020. He served 31 years in the department.

His retirement will be effective in January 2027…
