Lexington’s second double-cross diamond intersection will open Monday, Oct. 5, at the corner of New Circle and Leestown roads, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials said Wednesday.
Before the intersection can open, there will be multiple lane closures on Leestown onto New Circle Road, state highway officials said.
Those closures include:
- Leestown Road will close between Taylor Drive and Opportunity Way from 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5.
- Exit 7 (US 421/Leestown Road) on New Circle Road will also be closed during this time.
