LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Fayette County Public Schools recently settled a lawsuit with the family of a student with autism who wandered away from Meadowthorpe Elementary School, according to a report by the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Court records said that the seven-year-old boy slipped out of an unlocked classroom window in Nov. 2025 and roamed around school grounds for 20 minutes.
