LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officials with the Lexington Police Department announced in the early hours of Wednesday morning that one of their own had been arrested in Scott County.

According to Lexington law enforcement, on April 14, Officer Chad Wilson was arrested by deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office and charged with fourth-degree domestic violence assault with minor injury.

Leaders with the LPD wrote that Wilson had been relieved of his sworn duties and transferred to an administrative assignment, per department policy, while the alleged assault is reviewed.
