Massage Envy sued by woman who says she was violated by Lexington employee

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — In the wake of an employee’s arrest on sexual abuse charges, a lawsuit alleges a Lexington Massage Envy failed in its duty to protect client safety.

It’s been just over a month since a Fayette County woman says a massage therapist violated her during a session, and by speaking out, one of her lawyers says she hopes to see change within the massage industry nationwide.

It was at the Massage Envy on Bryant Road that the alleged victim said an employee inappropriately touched himself during the session and that she was unable to consent.

Attorney Stewart Ryan said this not only violated her bodily autonomy but also her trust in the business…
