Madison County volunteer fire department assures they will stay in service

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – The White Hall Volunteer Fire Department (WHVFD) released a statement to reassure Madison County residents that their operation is fully intact.

With Madison County Fire Department constructing a new station, concerns rose that it would disrupt the operation of the WHVFD. WHVFD says they have no involvement in the construction plans, and continue to focus on providing as much fire protection as possible to the community.

The WHVFD station was able to be built solely from funds raised by volunteers and supporters of the operation, costing nothing to Madison County taxpayers. Minimal government assistance has been given, but volunteers are dedicated to their service, WHVFD says…
